Screenplay by: Ken Lipper, Paul Schrader, Nicholas Pileggi, Bo Goldman
Cinematography by: John Corso, Michael Seresin
Editor: David Bretherton, Robert C. Jones
Cast: Al Pacino, John Cusack and Bridget Fonda
Year: 1996
Disappointing and uninspired performances from the entire cast (even from Pacino at most times). Cusack's southern-boy accent is way too phony to ever give what he says any weight. It reminds me of Keanu Reeves' failed attempt in Devils Advocate- Strange how both actors choose to play their characters with southern accents in a film opposite Al Pacino. Other than Pacino's fiery speech at a funeral, there is really no other reason to watch it. I suggest just pass on the rental and check out the clip on youtube.
