A hell of a fun first-person roller coaster ride through a Godzilla movie. The use of tape breaks and recorded over footage to edit flashbacks into the film was just a stroke of genius (as well as many other clever video gags). Yes, the monster is not very interesting too look at when you finally see it, but this film really doesn't care about that, it's only concerned about establishing a constant looming threat which your mind fills in the blanks. You're constantly asking yourself (much like the characters) "What the hell just happened?" as you watch them survive one close call after another.
