Man, Hollywood still can't get this f-ing story right! ARGH! The opening scenes had so much promise with an astonishingly realistic rendering of a post-apocalyptic Manhattan. The environment was so detailed and jaw-droppingly beautiful, I was almost convinced that all the destruction in the film had actually happened. Unfortunately, my suspension of disbelief was soon utterly and shamefully shattered by the ridiculously shoddy and cartoonish CGI effects of the vampires. Seriously, what were they thinking?
